SHERLOCK - The world that they’ve only read about


Sherlock: Interactive Adventure, by HAAB, brings to life the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in an interactive adventure at the tips of your fingers and allows users to step into the world that they’ve only read about.

The entire story is illustrated and even includes interactive animations, allowing users to explore rooms or areas with the characters in the mystery. Maps of the city areas important to the story are also provided, as well as the option to collect various items/clues throughout the adventure.

For users who prefer to be read aloud to, an audio recording by Simon Vance is available as part of the full version of the app. Other features of Sherlock: Interactive Adventure include dossiers on key characters, a collection of period articles containing descriptive text, and 20 original music themes.

Budding detective will appreciate that the app also features a “search mode” to aid in finding relevant articles and clues to solving the mystery.

The basic version of Sherlock: Interactive Adventure is available for free through the iTunes Store. However, this basic version does not unlock the entire story, and this can be done for only $2.99.

Considering the impressive features of the app, this price seems entirely reasonable. Overall, Sherlock: Interactive Adventure is an app that will delight both youth and adults alike, more fully bringing to life an exciting Sherlock Holmes’ classic story.
